Lac qui Parle Sunday

July 9, 2012

Mde Ia Udan, now known by its French translation, Lac qui Parle, so named by Dakota people who say that in the long ago, the Great Spirit spoke to a man here.

We are on our way out, but I just wanted to check in and thank everyone who was praying yesterday when I was speaking at Lac qui Parle. This post on my history blog doesn’t communicate a tenth of it. But its is the best I can do with miles to go before I sleep :).

Lets just say that singing the Doxology  in Dakota –worshiping in one of Minnesota’s original languages –is unforgettable.

God is still speaking at Mde Ia Udan.
